Episode 86: Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Areola

Bloody good show! This week is all about the handhelds, as the crew delves into Henry Hatsworth, GTA: Chinatown Wars, and a slew of slick iPhone games. Tony lets everyone know if EA’s genre-blending experiment is worthy of the critical acclaim, while Justin deals digital dope in the most “adult” DS game yet. After a brief feline interuption and an embarrassing anatomy lesson, Kaz explains to Nick why games like WordFu continue to make the iPhone a viable gaming platform. This episode was recorded prior to GDC, so tune in next week for our takes on all of the big announcements.

About the Author

This podcast is a celebration of the social aspects of gaming. We were “smash brothers” long before we became the ‘Pack, and we continue to game with each other on a regular basis. If you look beyond all of the media sensationalism and message board wankery, you’ll discover that video games can help form bonds that will last forever. We’re living proof of that – we’re not jaded journalists (not yet, at least), we’re not tournament players and we’re certainly not fanboys. We’re just folks who love to play and discuss games with each other, and we hope to extend this friendship to our listeners with every installment.
