Grab your shovels, Rumble Nation. The guys are digging their way through Terraria and they’re not stopping until they reach the cat turds at the bottom. Thanks to the recent Steam sale, Kaz is totally in love with this Minecraft-ian sidescroller. Meanwhile, Justin channels his inner-Sully in the Uncharted 3 beta and Tom jams to the glow worm song in Shadows of the Damned. Plus, “Pirates of Dark Water,” android uprisings, streaming game services, “Rubber,” GBA reminiscing, Universe Sandbox and sexy lawn mowin’ from Kaz.

Unfortunately, the Uncharted 3 beta didn’t grab me like I thought it would. I was pretty hooked on the multiplayer in U2, but this new one just didn’t do it for me in the same way. Maybe it wasn’t different enough from the previous game? Maybe the (seemingly) complicated progression system kept me at bay? I dunno. I’ll still pick up U3 at some point (maybe after Dark Souls).

Quick question about Terraria: Can you use a controller?

    • Answer: You can, apparently, but it’s really cumbersome:

As for Uncharted 3, it’s just such a nice change from the constant barrage of online multiplayer FPS games, and like I said, I liked U2 but never spend much time online. I’m also a fan of the gamechangers, or whatever they’re called, that help give me a chance whenever I’m getting my ass kicked.
